Professional
As the year has progressed, I have learned more about myself as a leader as well as an individual. I have had to work in situations with tight deadlines and communicate ideas to my team in an orderly fashion. I feel that the high efficiency of my team has helped me communicate ideas from top management through me and directly to my team. I have developed good relationships with my department, and I feel as if they communicate openly to me when there are issues with producing productions. When there is a tight deadline, I feel that my team is very on top of their responsibilities. Recently, our company attended a trade show whereas we got many new ideas for design and other elements for our company. The ideas at the trade show were very creative and advanced compared to our own. My teams new job is recreating our overall look. We are keeping our logo and main ideas the same, but we have to rethink the both set up and decoration as well as the marketing board. My team is currently working on recreating all these things for a fresh look that will show the professionalism within our company. This is a team effort from top to bottom in our company. I have communicated with all departments in order to create a good image for our company. It is important that our product catches the eye of consumers in the virtual world. Below is a screen shot of our website. The make up of the website is split into many sections. The overall design of our company is done by our webmaster, but there is a lot done behind the scenes. From checking the status of our orders to resetting each buy button by hand. I can trust my team to stay on tasks through communicating my ideas.
I would give myself a 4/5 in the professional aspect of my career readiness skills. I feel that I present myself to the class and teachers fairly well, but I do get off task and get distracted sometimes.
In the future, I could improve by making sure my phone is away as well as my homework. This class is solely for the development of Spectrum. If I can contribute better by being more involved than I will do so. |
